Aquatic Activities

Cincinnati Sports Club offers a comprehensive swim lesson program for members of all ages. The Sports Club’s wide variety of indoor and outdoor aquatic programs includes members lap swimming, water aerobics, and organized instructional swim programs.

Our certified aquatics staff welcomes your involvement in any of our aquatic fitness activities. Instructors will guide the swimmers through seven levels of swimming in the Sports Club’s small group program. Swim lesson instruction is available year-round for Club members only. The 5-level swim programs begin with Water Exploration, typically for preschoolers, ages 3-4, to help them become more comfortable in the water. They can go on to Primary Skills, teaching floating and basic swimming fundamentals. Your child can then advance to Stroke Readiness, Skill Refinement, and advanced skills, in which he or she focuses on endurance and can perfect previously taught skills. Level 5 of our swimming instruction program is also an excellent way for your child to prepare or train for becoming a member of swim team.

A Parent-Child Swim Clinic, which is offered for free each week, is also available to members, and is designed for children under age 3 with their parents in the water. This swimming program is a great way to bond and relate with your young child!

Private swim lessons are also available for levels 1-5 for members of all ages.Whether you want your child to learn to swim or you and your family simply have the desire to enjoy the ambience of the outdoor pool on a lazy summer afternoon, the Sports Club swim lesson program will take care of all your needs.
