Happening Around the Club
Poolside Cabana Rentals: Cabana rentals are available from open-4pm, and again from 4pm-close every day. The reservation fee is $30, and can only be made seven days in advance. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the reservation date to avoid the full balance charge. Email Heather Maloney for more information.

Free Guests for ACH Member Payments: As a friendly reminder, please inform the check-in desk that you are a Rewards member when checking in your guest. They’ll still need to complete a waiver and provide ID, but there will be no charge. As a member that completes monthly payments by ACH, you receive one free guest per month, but that does not carry over month-to-month; they will not be marked as your free guest unless you elect to do so. If you are currently paying by credit/debit and would like to switch to ACH and receive one free guest per month, bring a voided check to the front desk for assistance. Corporate Membership Programs: Did you know that the Club offers corporate membership opportunities? We have many business partners that provide incentives for their staff to exercise and use the Club. A few examples from our participating businesses include subsidization of dues based on required monthly check-ins and payroll deduction for easy monthly dues payment. If you work for a business or organization that would be interested in partnering with the Club for their employee wellness program, please email email@example.com. Please note – the Club does not discount dues for any local business. Dues subsidization from a participating company may reduce the amount due from the employee but the Club receives full payment of all dues memberships. Corporate membership plans are available with a minimum of 5 new dues paying memberships.
Update Your Email Address: Are you part of the Club’s email list? Perks include free birthday rewards, facility updates, event happenings and much more! Stay in the loop and improve your billing process by adding your email to your membership at any desk in the Club.
Parking Lot Conduct: Safety is our top concern at the Club, so we’d like to ask members to please follow all rules of the parking lot. We’ve received feedback about a variety of incidents, including driving the wrong way and parking in the fire lane – these are both violations of state and Club regulations. Please be advised that we use video surveillance to run the plates of every vehicle found in violation, which results in a report to the Fairfax police and a $15 charge to the associated membership account. Box Tops for Education: Turn your extra box tops into cash that helps us improve the local community! Bring your Box Tops for Education to the member service desk now through March to benefit the John P. Parker Elementary School. Thanks for your participation!
Travel with Your Membership: Have you heard about the IHRSA Passport Program? It entitles members of participating clubs to receive guest privileges at any participating clubs worldwide. Visit www.healthclubs.com/passport to locate participating organizations, and call ahead to inquire about guest fees and availability.
Online Activity Registration: Members can now schedule appointments for tanning, paddle tennis, outdoor tennis, squash and racquetball, as well as view and print check-in history, on the Club website. These functions require an initial login, and Club staff can provide guidance as necessary. Email Heather Maloney for more information.
Mobile ID Check-In: Members that wish to check-in without carrying their membership card can download apps such as Stocard, Key Ring or Card Star, scan their card and present to staff upon arrival. If you need a locker, remember to borrow a key from the member service desk.
New Member Orientation: Sign up at the Fitness Desk for a guided walkthrough of everything the Club has to offer! A fitness staff member will help you make the most of your membership with an introduction to various programs and concierge services available to all members. At the end of the tour, participants may schedule a complimentary personal training session to kick-start their fitness efforts! Visit the Fitness Desk to register.
Shoe Shining at the Club: Bring your boots and shoes to life with a shoe shine at the Club. Drop them off at the Member Service Desk during the month of January to buy one shine, and get another free!
Lost & Found Policy: Our procedures for handling lost and found items have changed. Employees are not permitted to search the lost and found cabinet for personal items, and they are not permitted to “hold” found items. All found items must be immediately transported to the lost and found cabinet. Thank you!
