High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) at the Club is a month-long, boot camp style, morning exercise program.
It is one of our most popular group fitness classes and is designed to produce total-body results through a mix of core, balance, resistance, weight training and cardio exercises.
From avid Crossfit and marathon trainees to light exercisers and weekend enthusiasts, HIIT is for everyone. Steve Owens, CSC trainer and coach, designs every session with variety in mind. With a strong commitment to weekly attendance, Steve’s routines will lead to steady results.
Every new HIIT/boot camp style training sessions begins on the first day of each month, with a 5:30am session and 9:30am session Monday through Friday on the indoor athletic field. You’ll be surrounded by others who thrive on group exercise, and work towards your goals together.
The daily schedule
Begin with a flexibility warm-up
M-W-F emphasizes a rotation of strength, resistance, plyometric, core, and balance station exercises
T- Th emphasizes a mix of weight training and cardio
Finish with a cardio-heavy cool down
While you are working out, Steve will provide individual guidance as needed to tighten your form and make the most of your workout. Wear comfortable athletic shoes, grab a towel from the front desk, and bring a water bottle.
